Linda Byrd is the President of the North Florida Region of iHeartMedia. In her capacity, she oversees radio stations in Orlando, Melbourne, Tampa, Sarasota, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Panama City and Brunswick, Georgia.

Linda began her career in 1977 and has been with iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel) since 1982. She has received many prestigious honors during her career including Radio Ink Magazine’s General Manager of the Year, Clear Channel's General Manager of the Year, Florida Association of Broadcaster’s Florida Broadcaster of the Year, and has been listed on the Most Influential Women in Radio list every year from 2000 to 2018. Linda was also given the Silver Medal Award by the American Advertising Federation for the outstanding advertising professional in Central Florida.

Linda has served as President of the Orlando Radio Broadcasting Association and was the first woman to ever serve as Chairman of the Florida Association of Broadcasters. She also currently serves on the board for Florida Citrus Sports.

Born and raised in Orlando, she graduated from Colonial High School before attending the University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Linda’s first job in radio was as a copywriter. She has a son, Riley who is attending college at the University of Alabama. Her leisure time is spent either cheering on her beloved Crimson Tide or enjoying her weekend getaway in New Smyrna Beach.
