Ginny Morris is the chair of Hubbard Radio LLC, and has more than 30 years of broadcast industry, business and general management experience. In her current role, she is responsible for managing the operations and strategic direction for Hubbard’s 21 radio stations throughout Chicago, Washington D.C., Minneapolis/St. Paul, St. Louis and Cincinnati.

As part of the company’s growth strategy in 2011, Ginny led Hubbard’s acquisition of 17 radio stations from Bonneville International Corporation, strengthening Hubbard’s national reach and significantly expanding its industry footprint. During the acquisition, she managed the relationship and transition of all 17 stations, as well as the fourfold increase in the number of employees. She also oversaw the acquisition’s financial transactions while monitoring private equity interests.

Morris originally joined Hubbard in 1982 and worked her way up to management positions before becoming president and general manager of KSTP-FM and KSTP-AM in 1995. During her tenure with KSTP-AM, Morris spearheaded the station’s transition to a syndicated program on a regional basis and managed the formation of a new company, the Hubbard Radio Network, in 1999. The Hubbard Radio Network works with 26 affiliates throughout the Upper Midwest and continues to add stations.

Highly regarded in broadcasting circles as well as in the Minnesota business community, Morris currently serves on the executive committee of the Radio Advertisers Bureau (RAB), and is a board member of Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) and chairs the Library of American Broadcasting. She also serves as a board member for MinnCAN and St. Thomas Academy. Ginny is a former chair of the NAB Radio Board and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

Ginny is consistently listed among the most influential women in radio as well as among the most powerful people in radio by "Radio Ink." The "Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal" named her one of the Twin Cities’ most influential women in 2002.
