Christopher Smith is a writer and creative director at The Richards Group in Dallas, Texas. In his 25 years in advertising, Chris has written for brands like Motel 6, Famous Footwear, The Home Depot, Zales, Amstel Light, H-E-B, Central Market, BMW, 7-Eleven, Red Lobster, LaQuinta, and dozens more. He’s collected shiny paperweights from the One Show, Clios, Effies, the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, the American Advertising Federation, the London International Awards, and the Association of Music Producers. He has also won seven Radio Mercury Awards, including (as creative director) the two Best of Show prizes. His work has been featured in Communication Arts, Print, Graphis, Advertising Age, The Wall Street Journal, Voice.com’s Sound Stories podcast, and more. In 2015 he was named to Adweek’s Creative 100: America’s Most Inventive Talent in Marketing, Media and Tech.
