Scott Burnell leads business development and partner management efforts for the mobile industry at Ford Motor Company. Most recently Scott facilitated the creation and launch of the Ford Developer Program, the first developer ecosystem for in-vehicle connectivity open to all global app developers. By creating partnerships with mobile apps publishers and developers, wireless network operators, and handset device manufacturers Scott drives Fordís in-vehicle connectivity initiatives.

Prior to joining Ford, Scott had a successful career in the wireless industry. As the Director of Mobile Content for Wireless Developer Agency he assembled and led the mobile apps team at the largest content aggregator in North America. He was instrumental in launching hundreds of apps across dozens of storefronts and coordinating the mobile efforts for brands and publishers such as E! Entertainment, Maxim, and Turner Networks.

Before moving to the content side of the industry Mr. Burnell launched both retail and indirect sales channels for wireless operators such as Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, increasing each companyís national footprint, sales and end user support. Scott received numerous national awards for his efforts in laying the groundwork for todayís distribution channels by implementing progressive initiatives surrounding talent acquisition, sales training, reporting, and cross channel marketing programs.
