Bastida joined Alpha Media in June of 2015 as Executive Vice President of the Western Division, the position he continues to occupy. Bastidaís management career began in 1987 serving as Director of Sales for Caribou Communicationsí Oklahoma City duopoly. In 1989 Bastida was named VP/Market Manager where he continued to oversee the operation which grew to a seven-station cluster, currently owned and operated by Cumulus Media.

The seven-station group was acquired by Citadel Communications in 2000. The cluster was subsequently acquired by Cumulus Media in 2011. During Bastidaís tenure, these group of stations were not only perennial "market leaders" in revenue and profitability, but were generally considered to rank first in both revenue and profitability, statewide.

From 2001-2003 Bastida acted as regional manager for Citadelís Little Rock, AR radio group, as well as Citadelís Bloomington, IL, radio stations, in addition to his Oklahoma City duties.

Under Bastidaís management, the Oklahoma City radio group won Citadelís coveted "Market of the Year" award in 2000 and in 2001.

The Oklahoma City market also won Cumulus Mediaís prestigious "Presidentís Cup" in 2012, the first awarding of the trophy after the merger of Cumulus Media and Citadel Broadcasting.

A native of Oklahoma City, now residing in Palm Springs, California, Bastida has been a member of various media, business, and community groups, where he has held advisory and leadership roles.

A husband (Tricia) and father of three daughters, ranging in ages from 33 to 23-years¨ old, Bastida enjoys cooking, good wine, time with his family and dogs, and the occasional round of golf.
