J.J. Pellini is a marketing and digital specialist with extensive experience dealing with media outlets and public relations. He is adept in creating and executing programs that relate to a wide range of audiences. J.J. is also skilled in writing press releases and newsletters, developing content for websites and social media, and drafting promotional proposals. He also has a solid background in public speaking, event planning and audio production.

J.J. started his career in radio in 2000 at Lincoln Financial Media (formerly Jefferson Pilot Communications. He began as a Promotions Assistant, Production Assistant and On-Air Talent. In 2005, he became the Promotions Director of Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan. Soon after, he also added the title of Assistant Program Director for the station.

In 2011, J.J. also added the title of KS107.5 Promotions to Director to his duties. Then, in May of 2013, he was named Marketing and Promotions Manager of Lincoln Financial Media Denver and their six radio stations. Since 2015, J.J. has been the Director of Digital Media and Promotions for Bonneville Denver.

J.J. was named Lincoln Financial Media Denverís Employee of the Year in 2008 and 2012. He has also won numerous Employee of the Quarter awards, helped lead KS1075 to winning the prestigious Marconi Award for CHR Station of the Year in 2014, and helped lead 98.5 KYGO to being name the 2014 Radio Station of the Year from the Colorado Broadcasterís Association.

One of J.J.ís proudest achievements is seeing many staff succeed in their careers over the years. He has helped more than 50 interns and part-timers obtain jobs in the broadcasting industry, both here in Denver and nationally. Occasionally, he still teaches classes or guest speaks at the Colorado Media School in an effort to help aspiring broadcast students reach their goals.

Born in Greenwich, CT, J.J. moved to Denver in 1988 with his family. He attended Skyview High School in Thornton and Majored in Speech Communication with an Emphasis in Broadcasting at Metropolitan State College of Denver.

One of J.J.ís biggest passions is helping out organizations in the community. He is currently the Board Chair for the Colorado State Board for March of Dimes. He is also an active volunteer for Food Bank of the Rockies and Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

In his spare time, J.J. loves to spend time with his wife Kathie, daughters Avery (5) and Gianna (2), and their dogs Arnold and Jack. His hobbies include tennis and golf.
