Before he started hosting the highly successful afternoon drive show, The Rich Zeoli Show on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT in Philly, Rich Zeoli was advising candidates for President of the United States, Governor, US Senate, and local sewer commissioner. He had a crazy dream to break into talk radio and with zero radio experience, he begged for fill in work on WABC, NJ 101.5, and WPHT. Four years later, he got his first job in radio as afternoon drive host. The show has been a ratings and revenue success for four years.
Rich approaches his show from a core belief that talk radio needs to be entertaining, first and foremost. Listeners crave information, but they want to receive it in an entertaining and compelling way. We have to make their miserable commute fun and informative at the same time.
Rich has advised candidates and elected officials at all levels of government, up to and including President of the United States, translating issues and policy into sound media and communication strategies. He founded RZC Impact, a strategic communications firm specializing in media training, debate preparation, and public speaking. and he has trained individuals for appearances on Good Morning America, Meet the Press, Hannity, and many others. Rich is the author of The 7 Principles of Public Speaking: Proven Methods from a PR Pro (Skyhorse Publishing 2008).
Rich has has been married to his wife Brigid for 10 years and has two beautiful children, Patrick (4) and Clare (2). The audience feels a close connection to Rich’s family life as he talks about his adventures of marriage and parenting, including his adoption journey with both children.
