Sherri Holladay has 36 successful years’ experience in the radio industry. Previously the Regional Vice President with iHeart Media in charge of a number of Florida markets, Sherri moved her expertise to a private operation, The Radio People, when she married her husband, Bob Holladay. Together they operate stations in Monroe, LA, Vicksburg, MS, the Florida Keys and Dothan, AL.
A self-starter and leader who loves to create and build upon new ideas, Sherri was part of a collaboration to create The Island Hopper Songwriters event. The event is now in its fourth year, bringing in over 80 songwriters into the Southwest Florida area.
Sherri challenges traditional marketing models and takes a progressive approach using marketing strategies and tactics to drive business outcomes. Her most recent endeavor is forming a partnership to create The Digital People, a full-service digital and social marketing agency. The company specializes in helping businesses grow by increasing online visibility through paid SEO, digital advertising, social media marketing, and responsive website development.
Sherri has also served for two years as the 4th woman in 80 years to hold the position of Chairwoman for The Florida Association of Broadcasters from 2014-2016 where she has had the opportunity to lobby on behalf of the Florida Broadcasters. She still holds a position on the FAB Executive board as past-chair.
Sherri enjoys challenges. Her ongoing challenge is finding creative ways to help brands grow through traditional radio advertising and pairing that with streaming services and staying on top of the ever-shifting digital landscape.
