Hetal Patel is the EVP of SmartAudio Intelligence Insights at iHeartMedia. As such, she leads a team that provides research, insights and analytics to help shape iHeartMedia’s value proposition. In addition, she provides critical consumer insights, market intelligence and industry trends to iHeartMedia’s various teams, markets and executives. Her efforts are primarily focused in areas such as audience analysis, advertising sales metrics, next generation attribution solutions, specifically podcast attribution efforts.
Previously, Patel was the Head of Sales Research and Insights for Vox Media where she guided the company’s revenue department to deeply understand its audiences and advertising solutions by finding actionable and strategic insights. Before Vox Media, she was the Vice President of Corporate Analytics & Insights at iHeartMedia, where she built a knowledge base and generated insights around iHeartRadio users, radio listeners and the media landscape. Her additional research roles were with Nielsen, Radius Global Market Research and Nunwood.
In 2019, she was highlighted as a new technology leader to know by “Built in NYC”. Patel has participated in several speaking engagements including Women in IPSOS “Professional Experience Panel”, “The Latest Strategies for Maximizing and Monetizing Mobile” Cynopsis webinar, was the closing keynote speaker at the “Customer Love Summit” in 2018 and other panels where she shares her point of view and expertise with the research community.
Patel was enrolled in a PhD program for Consumer Psychology at University of North Carolina. She is a doting mother of one who likes to pair her love of traveling with Insta-worthy moments and cooking Indian food.
