Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Emmis Communications Corporation
Prior to joining Emmis as Associate General Counsel in 1998, Enright was a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP and worked in the Office of Indiana Lt. Governor John M. Mutz.
In the community, Enright serves on the Board of Directors (Secretary) of Ed Choice, Inc. f/k/a The Milton and Rose D. Friedman Foundation, Inc.), receiving the Friedman Fire Starter Award in 2013 for his leadership since the founding of the organization. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana, Inc., as a member of the Indiana University J.D./M.B.A. Advisory Board, as an Elder and Endowment Trustee of Second Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis and as a Director of the Indiana Legal Foundation. Professionally, he is on the Board of Managers of The Broadcast Traffic Consortium, LLC, a joint venture among several radio broadcasters to build a first-of-its-kind network to distribute traffic data in North America via radio technology, and the Board of Directors of Digonex Technologies, Inc., a provider of dynamic pricing solutions. From time to time has also served as a member of Working Groups of The Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council (CSRIC), a federal advisory committee established to provide recommendations to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). He has also served on the executive committee of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association. He is a founder of the United States Knarling Association.
Enright is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science (1985) and Indiana University – Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business and Maurer School of Law, with a Juris Doctorate/Masters in Business Administration (1990).
