Hali Croner is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Croner Company. She has over 30 years of consulting and research experience in the fields of compensation design and implementation. Hali is the company’s principal consultant.

The Croner Company publishes nine annual compensation surveys in specific industry segments “where technology and creativity meet.” Her firm has deep insight into compensation practices and levels in national and local media, digital content and technology, and entertainment, keeping its eye on compensation trends and challenges in these sectors.

Hali and her firm works extensively with senior management in both public and private sectors helping them create strategic compensation programs. She has assisted numerous media clients in developing comprehensive compensation plans as well as specific plan features such as incentive plans and equity plans. In addition, she provides advisory services to Compensation Committees of boards of directors on issues of executive compensation. Her firm blends deep industry expertise with compensation solutions that clients trust.

Hali started her career as a Research Analyst with SRI International, an international think tank. She was a Consultant at Sibson & Company, a compensation consulting firm, before joining The Croner Company in 1989. Hali currently serves as a Director on the Board of Trustees of Sterne School in San Francisco, California, and is the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of Congregation Rodef Sholom in San Rafael, California. Hali is a graduate of Dartmouth College where she earned membership into Phi Beta Kappa.
