Kevin Gallagher manages all media investment on the Comcast business at Spark. He has significant experience in media planning and buying for retail, franchisee and client local marketing groups, including Allstate, McDonald’s, Miller Brewing, Disney Studios and General Motors.

As EVP, Director of Local Marketplaces, Kevin managed unprecedented growth in Starcom’s local unit by understanding the uniqueness of client business and the media landscape from a Local perspective. He helped build a roster of over 30 clients that included Allstate, Best Buy, Bank of America, Chick-Fil-A, ESPN, Kraft, Samsung, US Cellular and Visa. From 2005 to 2012, he led local buying on General Motors, including over 200 dealer marketing associations.

Kevin has served as Chairman of the 4As (American Association of Advertising Agencies) Local TV and Radio Committee. He is actively involved in industry initiatives to drive changes in the local media landscape on topics including audience measurement standards, emerging technologies, and programmatic local buying platforms. Kevin represents Starcom on the Chicago Leadership Committee of the Ad Council. He is also a member of the Media Ratings Council, and Nielsen’s Audio Advisory Council.
