Barbara Floyd Jones is the Senior Manager of National Homeownership Programs with NeighborWorks® America. She has more than nineteen years of experience in the housing and community development field. A successful event strategist and coordinator, she has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the HOPE Now Alliance and the U.S. Department of Agriculture for her contributions and efforts towards affordable and sustainable homeownership.

In 2001, Ms. Jones joined NeighborWorks as the curriculum production manager. In this capacity, she managed the production and fulfillment of collateral materials used by the Corporation and other entities for training events nationwide. In addition, she coordinated with staff to provide assistance to training consultants.

Beginning in October 2008, Ms. Jones took on the role as program manager focusing on local foreclosure prevention efforts for NeighborWorks®America Corporation. In this capacity, she works with distract staff, local and national partners to produce a variety of foreclosure prevention outreach efforts. In addition to managing foreclosure prevention efforts, Barbara manages a national scam education and awareness campaign.

Ms. Jones has been the featured guest on nationally-syndicated TV or radio shows such as Growing Bolder, the Tom Joyner Morning Show, the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, and the James Fortune Show. She has also done media interviews with the Washington Post,,, and many local publications.

Ms. Jones holds a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in Public Administration. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University with a concentration in Marketing.
