As Vice President and Director of Local Media Investment, Yolanda brings 30 years of extensive local media experience to Austin-based advertising agency, GSD&M. She leads a team of insanely tenacious media buyers who work with local TV, cable and radio partners to drive an attentive audience to GSD&M’s roster of clients.
Known for her forward-thinking and strategic approach to media buying, Yolanda is passionate about and actively involved in working with local media partners to test and refine methodologies and systems. She strives to enable better informed decision-making and efficiencies through the use of technology and data, challenging her team and media partners to relentlessly seek new ways to reach local audiences.
In her 20 years at GSD&M, Yolanda has led the local investment team on some of the agency’s largest media accounts including but not limited to AT&T, Popeyes and SportClips.
Yolanda is a member of the 4A’s Local Audio and Video Committee and holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas. Hook ‘em Horns. When she’s not tackling local media markets, she enjoys traveling to remote areas of the world to experience new cultures and adventures.
